I take after my mom, who put a camera in my hands and taught me the basics as a kid. For as long as I can remember, I've been snapping photos and directing imaginary films. I've studied, practiced, and worked hard to turn my creative outlet into my career.

 

At the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, I found ways to explore and refine my craft through media studies, earning my Bachelor's in Communication. Before wrapping up school in Tennessee, I had the chance to study photography and documentary practice in London, UK. Learning from educators and artists of all kinds of backgrounds has had a lifelong impact on my work and worldview.

 

Travel has had my heart since then. It's revitalizing to watch life happen from a new perspective, to remember what a small part we play in this big, beautiful world. I want my work to reflect those experiences. The opportunity to travel is the most fulfilling part of my life and career.

 

In my twenties, I've embraced some adventurous years of freelancing and found my home on a few incredible production teams. My most recent position as wedding film director for 148 Films placed me on countless wedding days, documenting and supporting couples to create seamless films that preserve their stories. Working as a staff member also put me on all kinds of commercial sets for local brands and organizations as a director, camera operator, first AC, stills photographer, and production assistant.​

 

I'm currently based in Nashville, TN and working all around the Southeast. I'm available (and excited) to travel for work or work remotely on post-production.
